Dealing with No!
Jason Clarke explains how to deal with ‘no’ at the next innovative breakfast series sponsored by ECU.
ECU’s Faculty of Business and Law is partnering with Via Appia Networking WA and Lush TV, to bring West Australian audiences the brilliant creative mind of motivational speaker and business consultant, Mr Jason Clarke.
As one of the most sought after speakers in Australia, Mr Clarke will present an interactive and engaging six-month series in Perth, entitled Thought Leaders WA.
Director of Networking WA, Ms Rebecca Cole, is looking forward to having ECU on board as a partner for the series.
“We are extremely lucky to have the support of an institution that is so committed to the development of Western Australia’s business leaders,” she said.
On 12 August 2010, Jason Clarke will present the second instalment of the Thought Leaders WA series: ‘Forward thinking only – dealing with NO’, in a breakfast event at Palais 85, South Perth.
Jason says that whilst some organisations are tentatively exploring new ways of working, most still rely on old habits, fearful of truly taking risks and embracing new ideas. He aims to encourage a new mindset amongst West Australian businesses and individuals.
Jason commented; “People want to buy from, contribute to, work for, and invest in innovative companies. When businesses hire people they are simply renting bodies, but if they encourage people to innovate, they’ll get their brains for free.”
This breakfast follows on from the success of the sell out first event in the series ‘The future belongs to the person who sees it first,’ which explored the topics of innovation and motivation in the workplace.
