Faculty students shine in sport and recreation
Through the Department of Sport and Recreation’s Career Pathways Program.
The Faculty of Business and Law would like to congratulate Sport, Recreation and Event Management students Leah Evans and Samantha Elkington who were successful in being offered the Department of Sport and Recreation’s Career Pathways Program 2010.
The application process included a submission on how to deal with a real life scenario in the workplace, as well as detailing career aspirations and submitting a CV.
Both students have received the ‘Student Futures Package’ which includes:
- Attendance at a specialised industry networking event with representatives from sport and recreation organisations.
- A professional development workshop.
- Funding to complete an official sport or recreation accreditation in their area.
- An official certificate of recognition.
