Background
David commenced his professional career in managing Student Services and Activities whilst continuing as an instructor in outdoor adventure and expedition leadership. He also spent a total of 11 years as the Deputy Executive Director for Sport and Recreation at the University of Western Australia.
David has been Chief Executive Officer for both the Claremont and Peel Thunder Football Clubs in the West Australian Football League. Prior to commencing lecturing at ECU, David was employed as a Senior Project Officer in Strategic Policy, Planning and Research at the Department of Sport and Recreation.
