Beginner/Intermediate Simulation Moulage

Who should attend?

This course emphases hands-on practice and useful skills and is targeted towards practitioners of simulation who wish to learn more about how moulage can add realism to their scenarios.  It’s intended to serve the needs of:

  • Nurses and doctors
  • Paramedics
  • Disaster management operatives
  • Military, Police, FESA

What will the course provide?

Hosted by Nola Pearce - an expert in the field who brings many years of experience working with health practitioners, the military and first responders - this workshop will teach participants how to create realistic:

  • Bruising, shock and rashes;
  • Cuts and abrasions;
  • Lacerations, gunshot wounds;
  • Surgical wounds, ulcers, infections and wound dehiscence;
  • Ways to ‘enhance’ wounds with scabs, blood, pus;
  • Burns and lacerations.
