Occupational Therapy

Graduates of the Occupational Therapy program in the School of Medical and Health Sciences can choose career pathways in occupational therapy, health and wellness coordination, counselling, risk/safety, neuromuscular therapy, hand therapy, rehabilitation consultancy or vocational rehabilitation. Students have access to leading-edge rehabilitation technology and purpose-built teaching facilities. Some unique features of this program are the clinically-focused teaching and research which includes clinical placements in every year and student-led clinics. Class sizes promote optimal learning and a richer learning experience.

Work-Ready Experience

Beginning in the first year, students have opportunity to participate in clinical placements throughout the program thatare directly related to theoretical learning.
