The School of Nursing and Midwifery has strong relationships with Perth metropolitan teaching hospitals and healthcare facilities.
International clinical placements take place each year with a group of nursing and midwifery students in Cambodia, India, Nepal, Laos, Philippines, Tanzania and Thailand.
We are committed to engaging with the community by providing sponsorship support for key industry partners and events.
The MAMS program offers the support of one specially allocated midwifery student, under the supervision of your trained maternity care health provider, who will support you and your partner in your personal journey from pregnancy to after the birth of your baby.
Our Nursing program offers students the opportunity to undertake a community placement overseas, where they are able to work in a different healthcare system and experience health from a diverse cultural background.
LabRats is a community engagement initiative for Years 10 and 11 secondary school students conducted at ECU's Joondalup Campus. This annual event provides an opportunity for students to visit the campus and participate in several hands-on science workshops.
The HOT program is designed to facilitate an on-campus experience for Year 10 secondary school students with the aim of immersing students in teaching and learning environments used in our Bachelor of Science (Nursing).
