School of Nursing and Midwifery South West prize winners for 2016

Four prizes were awarded to students enrolled in or graduating from the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) at our South West campus.

Dr Foster & Associates Prize

Awarded to the student enrolled at the South West Campus (Bunbury) of ECU who has achieved the highest Weighted Average Mark (WAM) in the Bachelor of Science (Nursing).

2016 Prize: to Jennifer Harrison

St John of God Bunbury Hospital Prize

Awarded to the student graduating from the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) course who has demonstrated excellence in clinical practice units as assessed by the panel of clinical supervisors specifically convened for award nomination

2016 Prize: to Katherine Irvine

University of the Third Age Bunbury (Inc) Prize

Awarded to the enrolled student that has demonstrated exemplary practice in the care of the elderly in NPP1201 Supportive Nursing Skills and Practice taught in the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) course as assessed by a panel of clinical supervisors, Program Coordinator and Workplace Learning Coordinator.

2016 Prize: to Zayliee Edwards

WA Country Health Service - South West

To recognise excellence in the clinical practice component of the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) offered at ECU South West Campus and to further develop and strengthen the strategic alliance between the Hospital and the Nursing Program.

2016 Prize: to Bianca Powell
