The Department of Health's Nursing and Midwifery Office has a range of scholarships, fellowships and research grants available to help you become a nurse or midwife, or extend your career.

Fellowships and Academic Grants

These awards are for experienced nurses and midwives. There are a range of awards to assist WA Health employees undertaking higher degree qualifications, research, or practice improvement projects.

Those undertaking Higher Degree Research are encouraged to apply.

Applications for these awards are open 24 October and close 24 November 2016 at 4pm.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. So, if you are studying to become a nurse or midwife, or you are looking to obtain postgraduate qualifications - this is the funding for you.

Applications for 2017 scholarships open 19 December 2016 and close 3 February 2017 at 4pm.
