High quality research: Real world impact

At the Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Services Research, our research programs have consistently received the maximum rating (5) for quality through the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) framework. Our research in the fields of chronic disease management, child and family health, workforce and health services are recognised as innovative and relevant to national and international audiences.

We collaborate with world-class researchers, industry leaders and clinical experts in the development, conduct and application of our research in our drive to conduct high quality research with real world impact.

Reducing the burden of diabetes

A project aiming to prevent people at high risk of diabetes from developing the disease has been awarded $1.1 million from the Health Research Council of New Zealand.
