The impact of patient, ward and staffing characteristics on nursing-sensitive outcomes – A pilot study
The aim of this study is to examine the impact of changes in patient, ward and staffing characteristics on patient safety.
Specifically, 14 patient outcomes which previous research suggests are nursing-sensitive, will be examined to determine whether or not changes in patient, ward and staffing characteristics are associated with changes in nursing-sensitive outcomes.
