Prior to her move to Perth, she served as a Senior Health Policy Analyst at the RAND Corporation, an internationally recognized public policy think tank in Washington, DC, where she led numerous nationally funded research projects and was a Co-founder, along with Dr. Joanne Lynn, an internationally known Geriatrician and hospice physician, of the Palliative Care Policy Center (PCPC), a clinical quality improvement, education, and health services/public policy research centre in the Health Division at the RAND Corporation.
