11 new workstations will be created in PGSB’s computer laboratory

The Faculty of Business and Law is pleased to announce that an upgrade to computing facilities for PGSB students is underway. The upgrade will create 11 extra workstations and increased floor space in the Postgraduate Laboratory in Building 10 on Mount Lawley campus. The additional workstations will meet the growing demand for dedicated postgraduate computing facilities.

27 June - 15 July: access to rooms

The building work will be carried out during the inter-semester break, with work commencing on Monday 27 June and due to be completed by Friday 15 July. During this period there will be no access to rooms 10.101, 10.102, 10.103, 10.126 and the adjoining space.

Students needing on-campus computer access during the semester break are asked to use facilities in the Mount Lawley or Joondalup eLabs. The computers in the eLab run the same software applications as those in the Building 10 lab and the printers are used in the same way as the printers in ML 10.104. Students can enter the eLabs 24 hours a day with their student access card.

We trust that these minor works over the semester break will not impact on our students’ studies, and we look forward to re-opening our new and improved postgraduate lab prior to the commencement of Semester Two 2011.
