ECU Psychological Services Centre

The Edith Cowan University Psychological Services Centre is a state of the art psychology clinic and training centre where Clinical Psychology interns provide services to the public under the direct supervision of experienced clinical psychologists.

What do we offer?

Our students and staff provide a professional, confidential and caring service to children, adolescents and adults in the Perth community. We ensure that you feel safe, respected, and listened to. We offer counselling, therapy and assessment services to people experiencing a range of common psychological issues, including:

  • anxiety / panic attacks and depression
  • stress and lifestyle management
  • children’s behaviour and social & emotional issues
  • infant / parent relationship issues
  • adolescent issues
  • sexual assault, trauma and abuse
  • adjustment to change
  • relationship and family issues
  • alcohol and other drug use 
  • loss, grief and bereavement
  • anger management /assertiveness
  • chronic pain or illness

A range of psychometric assessments are also available:

  • ADHD
  • intellectual and cognitive functioning
  • learning difficulties
  • personality

Centre Hours

The Centre is open from 8:40am to 4:45pm (last appointment 3:30pm) Monday to Thursday.


Clients may be referred by doctors, health agencies, schools and other government and community services. While adult clients may also refer themselves to the Centre, all children under 12 require a referral.


The ECU Psychological Services Centre is a low cost service and fees may range from $10 to $30 per session depending on personal circumstances.
