Agricultural information dissemination systems

Information dissemination in agriculture often involves several steps. These steps can have their own processes but can impact on the final information product. This research extends existing work done on agricultural value-chains and mobile-phone systems to research further into better delivery processes for the agricultural industry. This research focuses on an action research methodology of making a change to each step of the agricultural value-chain and evaluating the impact of that change.

This research is incrementally improving the agricultural industry’s ability to deliver information along the value-chain. This research focuses on information efficiency by applying data mining and related eAgriculture techniques and tools.
