This workshop looks at what is involved in becoming \'culturally competent\' by building participants\' capacity to relate to and meet the needs of Australian Indigenous people.
Having culturally competent staff at ECU will contribute to the development of more culturally competent graduates from ECU which will enhance their ability to engage appropriately with their professional communities.
Through a variety of discussions and activities, this workshop will provide an insightful introduction for staff in working effectively with Indigenous people both personally and within their role at ECU.
