PDC112 is designed for all new sessional staff. This course comprises an initial 3 hour workshop (3 hrs contact time) and participation in additional school based activities, comprising: a reciprocal peer observation of teaching and participation in at least 3 teaching meetings.

This initial 3 hour workshop provides an overview of teaching and learning at university; managing learning in tutorials, seminars and workshops; assessing student learning and evaluating your teaching.

Notes:
  1. To be awarded a certificate in "PDC112", staff are required to complete "PDC111:Teaching@ECU-Getting Started", "PDC112: Teaching at ECU-Sessional Teaching" and school based activities

Semester 1 will be held at Mt Lawley and Semester 2 at Joondalup
