This course focuses on eLearning and how it can be embedded in learning, teaching and assessment.
The course will explore the relationship between eLearning and face to face teaching, how to create effective eLearning environments that promote higher level learning, and how to assess for learning.
The aim of the course is for participants to develop an awareness of eLearning; the techniques and technologies involved, the benefits and limitations, good practice, appropriate, effective and efficient use in eLearning, and to identify ways in which staff might enhance teaching and assessment in their own practice.
Participants will attend a 3 hour face to face workshop and will be asked to complete 4 hours of follow up work.
