Non Award Units
Non Award Units are charged FULL FEES. However, if you are an Australian Citizen eligible to study at ECU, you may wish to apply for the associated Bachelor degree course. You are not obliged to complete more than one unit and undergraduate course unit enrolment fees are then Commonwealth Supported (i.e. less than full fees).
If you are applying to study a unit at ECU, which is not for an award at ECU or another university, you must submit the following:
- Application for Non Award Unit enrolment, ensuring all relevant information is provided including statistical details and the declaration is signed
- Certified copies of any qualifications you have obtained (unless gained at ECU)
- Certified copies of your marriage certificate/change of name if any of the qualifications are in a different name to your current name
- A certified copy of your Australian Passport, Australian Visa or Citizenship papers if you were born outside Australia
Please note that it is your responsibility to check:
- The unit is available
- That you meet any pre-requisites required for the unit. If the unit has a pre-requisite, please include a certified copy of your academic transcript displaying the equivalent unit

Once your application has been processed you will be advised of the outcome. If successful you will receive a Confirmation of Enrolment with further information on how to commence your studies at ECU.
