External/Online Courses Applications
ECU has a long tradition of excellence in the provision of external study. Many of ECU's academic programs can be studied externally. In addition, units/courses of programs are available on-line.

Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents
If you are applying for entry to ECU to commence in Semester 1 there are two different ways of applying:
Apply through TISC if you:
- Are applying for an undergraduate degree program
- Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have been approved or granted permanent resident status ; and
- Have never previously been enrolled at ECU
To obtain information on how to apply through TISC, please visit their website at www.tisc.edu.au
Apply direct to ECU if you
- Have previously been enrolled at ECU , and provided you are not also applying through TISC for entry to another WA university for the same period; or
- Have previously been enrolled at ECU and now wish to resume that course. You will need to complete an Application to Resume a Course; or
- Were offered a place at ECU in 2006 but deferred the offer, and provided you are not also applying through TISC for entry to another WA university for the same period.
If you are applying for entry to ECU to commence in Semester 2 you must apply direct to ECU
What to include with your application if you are applying direct to ECU:
- A complete Application for Admission ensuring that all relevant information is provided including statistical details and you have signed the declaration;
- Certified copies of any qualifications you have obtained (unless gained at ECU);
- Certified copies of your marriage certificate/change of name if any of the qualifications are in a different name to your current name; and
- A certified copy of your Australian Passport, Australian Visa or Citizenship papers if you were born outside Australia.
