ECU Multifaith Chaplaincy

What are our facilities?

Across the metropolitan campuses ECU provides facilities for the chaplaincy service.

There is a designated meeting room on the Mount Lawley campus, Muslim prayer rooms on each metropolitan campus, the Joondalup Police Chapel, and other space is made available as required.

Mount Lawley Multifaith Centre

  • Room 10.501
  • This space is available for meetings, prayer, bible studies & other faith purposes
  • To use this space: Please contact the Facilities Management Office.

Muslim facilities

  • Prayer rooms are available on all three metropolitan campuses - Churchlands 13B, Joondalup – 17G.101, Mount Lawley - 15A
  • All campuses have separate male and female prayer facilities. Musallah’s are supplied with prayer mats, Holy Quran and prayer timetables. The Joondalup and Churchlands campuses have hot water supply for ablution purposes.
  • To use this space: Please telephone a Security Officer. Security can be contacted on telephone 6304 3333 or the Facilities Management Office

Joondalup Police Chapel

Joondalup Police ChapelThe Joondalup Police Chapel is available to the ECU community through an arrangement between the Multifaith Chaplaincy service and the Western Australian Police Service and Police Chaplain.

The Chapel is a beautiful building designed around light and water and at its opening was blessed by a variety of faith traditions.

You are welcome to use the Chapel as a spiritual space for reflection and prayer.

Through Multifaith Chaplaincy Service, the Chapel is also available for other religious activities, such as, weddings, religious services, funerals and memorials.

When you use the Police Chapel please observe the guidelines and if you require further information regarding the Chapel’s use contact Facilities Management Office.
