Welcome to ECU Orientation!
Commencing University can be a little daunting and there may be some things, which you are not aware of, that you will need to know in order to succeed at University. ECU runs an intensive two-week Orientation program*+ for new and transitioning students at the start of semester to help you familiarise yourself with the University and discover important information about what to expect in your course.
Orientation for Semester One, 2010 has now come to a close, but that doesn't mean you're on your own! If you missed out on Orientation activities or are studying externally, there are still some workshops run during semester that can help you, and copies of the notes from a number of activities are available to download.
The most important things for you to do now are:
- Read through the ECU Student Guide, if you haven't already; and
- If you find yourself in difficulty speak to your School Support/Information Officer, or visit Student Central.
