Checklist
You're nearly ready to start your first semester at ECU!
Work through the checklist below to make sure you have all the relevant information and are ready to go.
For All Students (including International) |

| o | I have logged in to SIMO to complete my unit enrolment and printed my timetable |
| o | I have set up my ECU student webmail account and know to check it at least weekly as ECU sends all correspondence and reminders to this email account |
| o | I have obtained my Student ID Card |
| o | I have obtained and read through the ECU Student Guide |
| o | I have visited the eLab, know my login, and how to use the printing facilities |
| o | I have explored the Student Information website, and have gone through the Important Dates table |
| o | I know how to get to my campus by bus/train AND/OR I have organised my parking permit, know where to park and understand that parking could be difficult during the first and last few weeks of semester |
| o | I know how and where to obtain my After Hours Access Card |
| o | I have checked out my booklist on SIMO and extras at the Bookshop |
| o | I know where Student Central and the Cashier are located and the services they provide |
| o | I know where my Student Support/Information Officer is located |
| o | I know that ECU has services such as Counselling, Learning Advice, Student Health Services, Equity, Diversity & Disability Services and Multifaith Chaplaincy to help me while I'm studying |
| o | I have located the Security phones, know I only have to lift the receiver to speak to a Security Officer and know that I can get an escort for times such as when I'm working late on campus |
| o | I am aware ECU's Off-campus Housing Service is available for my accommodation enquiries |
| o | I have registered for jobs on CareerHub with the Student Recruitment and Careers Advisory Service |
| o | I have explored my campus and checked buildings on my campus map |
| o | I have checked out the Student Guild and relevant Clubs and Societies |
| o | I have checked out ECU Sports and Fitness and the many free activities they have on offer |
For International Students Only |

| o | I have attended the Vital Information for International Students |
| o | I have applied for my Overseas Health Cover Card |
| o | I have advised ECU of my correspondence address in Australia |
For International Students Only - Late arrivals (after 22/02/2010) |

| o | I have made an appointment with the Student Connect Officer via Student Central |
| o | I have visited the Student Support/Information Officer for my study program |
