Orientation - Do

Parking

If you'll be using your car - there is free parking during Orientation week/s in red student parking bays - but for the rest of the year you'll need a parking permit to avoid a fine.

Correctly parked motorcycles and bicycles do not require parking permits.

Getting a car parking permit
Purchase a permit online or on campus from the Cashier in Student Central. Alternatively daily and weekly tickets (commonly called "scratchies") are also available from the Cashier.

Keep to the correct bays and avoid parking on verges and in roadways.

Prepare yourself for parking in the first couple of weeks when semester starts - places can be hard to get!

After hours: Student Parking (Red Zone) permit holders may park in Staff Parking (Blue Zone) bays after 4:45 pm on weekdays.

Security staff are available to escort you to your vehicle or bus stop after hours. Emergency telephones have been placed strategically around each campus. Just lift the handset and wait for a response. From your mobile call 6304 3333.
