Are you ready to start your first semester? The checklist below is a useful tool for all students.
For All Students (including International) |

| o | I have visited the Welcome Centre on my home campus |
| o | I have obtained and read through the Survive & Thrive @ ECU booklet |
| o | I know where the Student Central and Cashier are and the services they provide |
| o | I have my student ID card |
| o | I know how to get to my campus by bus
and train |
| o | I am aware of Centrelink and financial implications (applies to domestic students) |
| o | I have toured my campus and checked buildings with my campus map |
| o | I have used SIMO to check my personal and enrolment records |
| o | I have completed my unit enrolment |
| o | I have explored the Orientation website and signed up for academic and social events |
| o | I have looked up my Faculty Inductions |
| o | I have explored the Student Information website |
| o | I've visited the Elab and know how to get access after hours, know my login, and how to use the printing facilities |
| o | I have set up my ECU student email account and know to check it regularly |
| o | I've been to the Guild website to see what they have and know I can buy and sell secondhand books |
| o | I've checked out my booklist and extras at the Bookshop |
| o | I know that ECU has services such as Counselling, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Student Health Services and Equity, Diversity & Disability Services |
| o | I have registered for jobs on JobsPlus+ with the Careers Advisory Service |
| o | I have taken a Library tour |
| o | I know where to borrow multimedia equipment and get information on how it works |
| o | I've checked out the Guild, Clubs and Societies, my School student association and Sports and Recreation |
| o | I have located the Security phones, know I only have to pick it up to speak to a Security Officer and know that I can get an escort for times such as when I'm working late on campus. |
For International Students Only |

| o | I have applied for my Overseas Health Cover Card |
| o | I have advised ECU of my permanent residential address in Australia |
For International Students Only - Late arrivals (after 22/02/2008) |

| o | I have made an appointment with the International Student Advisor |
| o | I have visited the School Student Support Officer for my study program |
