Payment
Medicare and OSHC Worldcare
Australian resident students are requested to present their Medicare number and International students, their OSHC health insurance card at time of medical consultation. Students sharing family Medicare cards may apply for their own card through any Medicare office.
Students are advised to determine via enquiry with Centrelink eligibility for a Health Care Card.
Application forms for Health Care Card entitlement are available in campus medical suites.
Billing Procedure
GP consultations provided to Australian resident students are direct billed to Medicare. GP consultations provided to International Students with OSHC Worldcare and OSHC Medibank health insurance are generally direct billed to these health funds.
