Smoking at ECU
Smoking is not permitted:
- in University buildings including substantially enclosed areas such as balconies covered walkways and verandahs
- in University vehicles
- near access/egress points (at least 3 metres away) to buildings such as doors, windows
- adjacent to external air-conditioning inlet ducts and vents
- in major thoroughfares
- other areas where no-smoking signage is displayed.
If you are a smoker, your cooperation with these requirements would be greatly appreciated in the interest of safety and well being of everyone on campus.
