These free workshops provide opportunities for you to develop the skills to successfully manage your learning.

Getting Started on Your Assignment
This workshop covers interpreting the question, guidelines for research (and avoiding plagiarism), applying assessment criteria and initial assignment planning.

Managing your Reading and Note-Taking
This workshop covers effective reading skills, making meaning from your readings, and note-taking for different purposes.

Academic Writing I: Moving Beyond Description
Learn the importance of critical thinking, analysis and providing evidence for your argument (referencing) to your University studies.

Academic Writing II: Structuring and Writing an Assignment
This workshop covers structuring the assignment, applying critical thinking skills, writing and editing your first draft.
