Changing your personal details

You may need to change the ECU's official record of your personal details.

Contact details

You can now update the following contact details online via SIMO.

Telephone/Facsimile

  • Telephone - home / work
  • Mobile
  • Facsimile

Address

  • Correspondence address
  • Permanent home address

International Students:

  1. Must retain your overseas address as your home address (for VISA requirements).
  2. (studying in Australia ) must contact Student Central at the end of your course to change your Australian correspondence address to an international correspondence address. This will ensure that you receive an academic transcript.
If you do not have access to SIMO, you can submit your changes in writing to your Student Central.

Name

To change your name on ECU records, forward to your Student Central the following:

  • Current photo licence with your new name, or
  • Marriage certificate, or
  • Deedpoll certificate

External students should provide certified copies of these documents. Copies should be certified by an ECU Student Central office, the originating institution (eg Police Department) or a Commisioner of Declarations.
