WebCMS Authoring Outage, 1st September 2011

There will be a short authoring outage of approximately 1 hour on Thursday 1st to allow for urgent security updates to be applied to the WebCMS Production system. All authors and approvers should logout of their WebCMS session before 5:00pm. Normal access for authoring and approving should resume at 6:00pm.
This outage may affect authoring within the WebCMS, via the back-end interface, and should not have any impact on the presentation of content already published, and the ECU Website as a whole.
Please ensure that you read the above information carefully. It is a very low impact request, and authoring/editing/approving access will only be interrupted for 1 hour.
Please raise any concerns with the WebCMS Administrator immediately.
