The primary role of the Web Advisory Committee is to identify new opportunities for the ECU website and to make recommendations on the policies, guidelines and standards applied to the design and management of ECU web-based content.
The primary role of the Web Standards Committee is to develop and maintain the technical standards adopted to manage web development across the ECU website. The committee is comprised of senior web developer representatives.
The objective of the WebCMS Users Group is to provide a forum for sharing knowledge across the various areas of the university using the WebCMS and to be a platform for the Web Business Team to demonstrate new features and directions being undertaken in the management and policy of the ECU Website.
The objective of the Web Coordinators Group is to provide a forum for sharing knowledge between the faculty web coordinators and other key web content coordinators of associated web pages within the ECU Website.
It is also charged with developing and maintaining the consistency of the common Faculty and School web structures, as well as identifying opportunities for improvements or changes to the core structure of Faculty and School web pages.
