Landing page templates
We have created a number of landing page templates to showcase the various elements that make up a landing page on the ECU website. Landing pages are governed by a strict set of rules regarding their placement within the structure of the website and the placement of elements within the landing page itself.
Landing page types
- Level 1 landing pages: are available on top level web pages, commonly named ‘Overview’ and are the first web page to introduce a section of the website; and the first level of web pages present in the left hand menu. The Level 1 landing page style is normally applied by default to all top level web pages as part of building a new section of the ECU website.
- Level 2 landing pages: are created by exemption for second level web pages. A second level web page would drop down below its parent web page within the left hand menu. Level 2 landing pages are not usually encouraged as information on this level should be specific to its topic and would usually be better presented using one of the standard page templates.
