Images
Use images, graphs, charts or tables where they might convey complex information more easily. Only include an image if it adds value to the web page and directly relates to the content.
You must adhere to image and graphic dimensions within the ECU Corporate Web Style Guide.
Captions
- Related images should have a caption describing what the image shows.
- Captions should be no more than 10 words and should not include punctuation. E.g. A picture of students sitting outside the library would say: Students outside the Joondalup Campus Library
Alternative text
- All images should have alternative text (Alt tag) attached to it, describing what the image is. E.g. A picture of the Chancellery building on the Joondalup Campus.
