Recently ECU welcomed over 12,000 future students, their families and friends to Open Days at both the Joondalup and Mount Lawley Campuses.
It was my great pleasure to attend both events and witness colleagues and students join together to help promote our courses and showcase our campuses to future students.
Both events were of an exceptionally high standard, with marquee-style study area tents adding an extra level of professionalism to the days’ proceedings. I am pleased to say that both events were a huge success, with Mount Lawley Open Day exceeding the number of visitors from last year, despite the bad weather.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making the 2012 Open Days such a success. I particularly thank Nicola Roszak and the Corporate Events team who worked tirelessly in the lead-up to, and on, both days. Their efforts are greatly appreciated.
To the staff involved – thank you for taking the time out of your weekends to help promote our University. Your commitment did not go unnoticed. To our student volunteers – thank you for your work over both days. You are a shining example to future ECU students.
And to those 12,000 visitors – I look forward to seeing you on campus again soon!
