It’s nice to be praised by international university rankings, but it’s even better to receive it from our students and graduates.
Which is why the latest Good Universities Guide is so pleasing. For the seventh year in a row ECU’s teaching quality has been rated the maximum five stars – based on a major annual survey of Australian graduating students.
At ECU we’re committed to putting students first in everything we do so it’s great to get feedback from former students that we’re on the right track.
The 2016 edition of the Guide– released this week –also shows ECU graduates continue to enjoy a five star rating for starting salaries, the second year in a row.
We also received four stars for generic skills and overall satisfaction.
Of course, there are areas to be improved. My job as Vice-Chancellor is to make ECU one of the great modern universities of the world and I’ve only just started.
From new facilities to launching a major campaign to recruit 20 new international professors to ECU, I hope you’ll continue to see improvement in everything we do so your experience continues to be a five star one.
