ECU is hosting a special 25th Anniversary Sundowner at the Stables Bar in Perth’s CBD, exclusively for our alumni, to celebrate the exciting milestone.
We are delighted to welcome on board Unibank as a sponsor of the event, especially because of how the sponsorship came about. Samantha Lyons, ECU alumna and Unibank employee, felt that she wanted to be able to support the development of the alumni relations program at ECU through her connections at Unibank, and therefore was able to offer this opportunity, helping her company’s brand and supporting ECU at the same time. We are very excited to have the alumni community behind us in this way, especially when involved in an event such as this, which is supporting ECU’s scholarship fund, Inspiring Minds.
We are also delighted to welcome ECU alumna and paralympian, Katrina Porter who will share some of her inspirational journey, and tell us how she is involved with this year's anniversary celebrations.
Many of the events in the ECU alumni program are well attended and sell out quickly with the 25th Anniversary Sundowner being no exception, it has sold out already.
Proceeds from ticket sales will be dedicated to the ECU Inspiring Minds Scholarship Fund which provides students with an opportunity to access an education that may otherwise be out of reach.
