"I did not expect to achieve so much so soon and be where I am today. My career satisfaction stems from the fact that I love what I do!"
"I am currently CEO of Saleem Technologies, a company I founded in 2006 to provide software solutions for the mining, oil and gas and construction industries. The company has now grown to a team of 18 staff.
Our software products include Track’em, a highly successful asset management tool we’ve implemented in over 30 mining, construction and oil and gas projects.
My career has turned out better than I expected. I did not expect to achieve so much so soon and be where I am today. My career satisfaction stems from the fact that I love what I do!
One of my fondest memories at ECU was when a lecturer, after providing us with an assignment gave us the option to complete additional tasks (for further marks), to test our capabilities. No one had ever completed the additional assessment but I took on the challenge and achieved a total score of 110 out of 100. A score like that you don’t forget!"
