Guest and Visitor permits

If you are inviting a guest onto an ECU campus, you can obtain a parking permit by:

  • purchasing an Online Guest parking permit;
  • purchasing a parking 'scratchie' from the Co-Op Shop or food outlets; or
  • directing your guest to one of our visitor parking areas and using one of our ticket vending machines.

Online guest parking permit

To purchase an online guest parking permit, complete the request form on the guest parking web page.

You need to include personal contact details, faculty or service centre, school or branch and cost code. You also need to have the type of vehicle the visitor will be driving, the vehicle registration number and the period of time the permit is required. These permits allow you to park in either student red zones or staff blue zones.

Permits can be for a maximum of five days:

  • One day permit - $4.00; or
  • Two to five days permit - $8.00.

Each faculty or service centre will be charged by GL journal at the end of each month.

Parking scratchies

These permits allow guests to park in either student red zones or staff blue zones but are not valid in visitor parking bays.

Daily and weekly parking scratchies are available from the Co-Op Shop or food outlets at $4.00 per day or $8.00 per week.

Visitor parking areas

Visitors can park in areas marked 'Visitor Parking' and purchase a ticket at one of our ticket vending machines located in the parking area. Visitor parking areas are shown in our campus maps.

Parking tickets from vending machines are from $1.50 per hour.

Reciprocal arrangements

There are no reciprocal parking arrangements between ECU and any other Western Australian universities.
