Computing and printing on campus

The eLabs are an ideal place for Students to finish assignments, carry out research and get online access to help with their studies. Catering for both PC and Mac users with software to support ECU courses, the computing and printing facilities in the eLab are available to ECU Students 24/7, all you need is your ECU Student ID Card. Course specific applications are available through School's computer labs. Schools also host PhD specific computer labs which are accessible with an access card.

ECU Staff and postgraduate students studying have access to a range of services to help you with your desktop, notebook and tablet computing requirements. These services include the provision and support of a computer with a range of standard software applications installed, the provision and support of a iPad or tablet device (subject to approval) and access to networked printers on campus.

You also have access to a range of software which you can request to have installed on your work computer, in a computer lab or on several work computers. A smaller range of software is available to borrow from the library to install on your computer at home.

Printing facilities on campus

Staff and Students also have access to over 85 multi-function printers across all three campuses including in computer lab and classrooms, eLab and the Library. This includes black and white or colour printing, scanning and secure Follow Me Printing that allows you to print to from the computers on campus or from your own device and print at any multi-function printer on any campus.
