Develop and Maintain School Community Partnership Agreements within Aboriginal Innovation Schools

School Community Partnerships are one of the strategies recommended by the Ministerial Council on Education and implemented through the WA Department of Education to improve attendance, educational outcomes and life choices of Aboriginal students.

Work was undertaken with Djidi Djidi Aboriginal School in Bunbury and Balga Senior High School, research included consultation with parents, students and staff to identify their wishes for a school and community partnerships and draft agreements was developed with both schools.
