High Use Collection (Reserve)

The High Use Collection is located in each of our campus libraries and is only available to ECU students and staff. The collection contains readings, books, videos, DVDs and CD-ROMS selected by lecturers as required for courses.

Because these items are in high demand, they can only be borrowed for short periods. Overnight loans are available for most books and can be borrowed three hours before closing time.

You can borrow:

  • a maximum of two items;
  • for a loan period of three hours.

Items borrowed from the High Use Collection must be returned to the same campus library that it was borrowed from.

Online High Use Collection (eReserve)

Online High Use is a collection of high-use materials made available in digital format. These materials are only available to ECU students and staff.

High Use and Online High Use materials can be found using the library catalogue, High Use search option.

Search for Online High Use materials using the unit code (e.g. PSY1101). It is also possible to search by lecturer's name or unit title. Use your surname and student number to authenticate to view these materials. You can access these materials 24 hours a day over the internet.
