Helen Hopper has been appointed to the prestigious role, which will encompass reviewing and collating ECU's vast collection of records and memorabilia, dating back to 1902.

In university settings, archivists traditionally work closely with alumni, a connection we’re looking forward to developing further.

Ms Hopper’s archival storytelling skills have been honed through 17 years of records and archives management experience at a range of institutions across Europe and Australia.

"I'm passionate about sharing the incredible stories that records tell," Ms Hopper says.

You can read more at ECU News.

Ms Hopper has relocated to Perth for the role and is due to commence at ECU this month.

Please make her feel welcome around the University.
