ECU and Mt Lawley Senior High School have a memorandum of understanding to share resources, facilities and curricula and to provide enhanced opportunities for students. The two institutions have collaborated on the use of infrastructure including the shared use of facilities, the construction of a shared Sport and Fitness Centre and a shared multilevel car park.
The partnership also allows for joint educational projects, including the development of joint programs, the establishment of a hub for engineering education, involvement of School of Education staff with Mt Lawley Senior High School on a biotechnology learning project, and Faculty of Education and Arts support for a parents and citizens application to the Healthy Active Australia Community Grants Project. There have also been opportunities for joint dramatic productions involving high school students and students in the School of Communications and the Arts.
