About this Specialisation

This specialisation builds on previous learning by broadening students’ understanding of diagnostic assessment and intervention techniques in Mathematics.

Students will explore research-informed strategies for the teaching, learning and assessment of Mathematics that cater for the diverse range of student abilities and learning needs at the primary school level. Particular focus is given to developing additional depth of understanding of expert content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge and highly effective classroom teaching in Mathematics.
