Dr Linda Holbeche
In marking International Women’s Day and the 2019 campaign theme #BalanceforBetter, ECU is pleased to provide this podcast from Dr Linda Holbeche direct from the United Kingdom entitled 'Making good on work life balance'. Join Linda as she discusses the changes needed in working environments that will ensure employees can prioritise both family and work equally.
Dr Holbeche is an independent developer, researcher and author in the fields of human resources, organisation design and development and leadership. Previously Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s Director of Research and Policy, she is now Adjunct Professor at Imperial College London and Visiting Professor at four other UK universities. She is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute for Employment Studies and Roffey Park and is President of the UK’s new Institute for Organisational Development. Linda is a committee member of The People Analytics and Planning Society and serves on several advisory boards. In higher education, Linda provides executive coaching and has designed and delivered development programs for aspiring Vice-Chancellors, and academic, professional service and HR leaders. Linda edits Croner’s Strategic Briefings article series, has written over 60 research reports, authored or co-edited over fifteen books, numerous book chapters and articles in the field. Her latest book is The Agile Organization (2nd Edition, Kogan Page, 2018).
