Extra-curricular learning for childrenChildren's University Edith Cowan aims to inspire students between seven and fourteen to develop confidence and a love of learning through validated activities beyond the school curriculum.

Following the success of their 20 in 20 Awards Night in November 2018, Women in Tech WA (WiTWA), the Perth-based, not for profit organisation, have made their Awards an annual event.
ECU has four nominees for the 2019 WiTWA Awards; Dr Helen Cripps – School of Business and Law, Dr Leisa Armstrong – School of Science, Dr Ratna Selvaratnam – Centre for Teaching and Learning and Dr Rina (Fu) Wong – School of Medical and Health Sciences.
WiTWA will launch their inaugural one-day conference, WiTWA [+] 2019 in Perth, on the 24 October, with the winners for the 2019 WiTWA Awards being announced at the conclusion of the event.This conference aims to showcase outstanding leaders and companies in tech [+], and inspire action towards diversity and equality. WiTWA [+] brings to life to the statement: if you can see her you can be her.
