The Faculty of Regional Professional Studies is located at ECU’s South West Campus (Bunbury), Western Australia’s largest university campus outside the metropolitan area. We offer a comprehensive range of courses in arts, business, nursing, teacher education, and social work.
We pride ourselves on our continual engagement with the South West community providing our students with invaluable industry opportunities and gaining the practical 'hands on' skills that ECU is so well known for. Our advanced facilities, combined with small class sizes and on-campus accommodation, allow you to apply your newfound knowledge immediately, giving you the extra edge and confidence needed when you go out into the work force.
We believe in integrating teaching, learning, research and engagement to maximise the value of activities on our campus, providing a supportive environment on which students can achieve and create.
The Aboriginal Student Support Officer at the South West Campus provides support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students requiring assistance when commencing their university journey and can also assist with any issues that may arise with their studies along the way.
Social Work students us the ECU Community Garden to embrace community development theories.
New upgrades to the Nala Karla Aboriginal Student Room were celebrated by staff and students.
The Uni Choice Program raises awareness of Higher Education opportunities and is encouraging more Indigenous people to go to university.
