ECU's annual Celebration of Giving event is held to recognise university supporters and the impact of philanthropic donation.
On 12 September this year, Professor Steve Chapman CBE, Vice-Chancellor of Edith Cowan University, hosted the evening in Kurongkurl Katitjin gallery on ECU's Mount Lawley campus. Donors had the opportunity to network, meet scholarship recipients, researchers, and fellow supporters. We heard the incredible impact of scholarships from a recent scholarship recipient, and had the pleasure of enjoying a percussion performance from a very talented first year WAAPA student.
We are incredibly grateful to have a network of supporters who are making such a positive impact on our student's learning experiences. Through philanthropic generosity, we're assisted in ensuring that all of our students reach their full potential. Be it through scholarships, corporate funding, visiting artist programs, or contribution to the diverse range of ECU’s research and conservation programs, donor support is helping to put ECU on the global map.
It’s been an outstanding year thanks to our donors and supporters. For those that have provided a gift to the university, your ongoing support is critical to the success of our university, thank you for joining us as a valued member of our ECU family.
