Medical needs

Before you arrive in Australia you should visit your doctor and get copies of medical records, vaccination records and prescriptions as necessary. Where possible, obtain a letter from your doctor to accompany any medications you are carrying with you.

You should also check with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection to confirm that your medicine can be brought into Australia.

If you require spectacles, you should obtain you prescription from your optician before you leave.
