ECU Contact Centre
The Edith Cowan University Contact Centre, located in the Student Services Centre (SSC), has won the Gold Medal in the 2012 National Customer Service Council Awards.
ECU was the winner in the Small Enterprise category, receiving the award for outstanding customer service excellence.
There were over 1000 entries for the three categories of awards.
SSC Director Glenda Jackson congratulated the team on their prestigious win.
“This is a wonderful accolade for Sonia Ryall, Peter Cottam, Jackie Moffatt and the Contact Centre team who were represented on the night by Kylie Lehmann, Janine Richardson and Lisa McStay. The Student Centrals were represented by Carmel Langdon and Stephen Baker,” Dr Jackson said.
To be shortlisted the Contact Centre were required to make a written submission, face-to-face presentation, and the final selection criteria involved a week of mystery shopping calls to the Centre.
