Orientation Events - South West Campus

Orientation events and activities are offered in four categories – ECU Essentials, Course Inductions, Study Skills and Tours, and Wellness and Social. Online registration is required to secure your place.

ECU Essentials include Get Set for ECU sessions and International Student Fundamentals (for international students).

Course Inductions contain specific information and study requirements about your course – including book lists, important dates, unit advice, practicum requirements (if applicable) and are an opportunity for you to meet staff and students in your School.

Study Skills sessions and workshops are highly recommended and cover academic writing, study skills, using technology, numeracy, how to use the libraries and academic referencing.

Tours, Wellness and Social activities will help you to navigate around your campus, balance life and uni, meet your fellow students, keep your health on track and set yourself up to succeed.

Please note: Orientation events and activities will be available for registration from mid-December.

Note for international students: 'International Student Fundamentals' will be held at Joondalup Campus only on Monday 22 July. This is a compulsory session for all international students new to ECU. Register here.
